Unmuted Studios: Service Agreement & T&C’s

UNMUTED STUDIOS — TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Unmuted Studios (“I”, “me”, or “the Producer”) and the client (“you”, “the Client”) for podcast production and related services. By confirming a project or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Services may include, but are not limited to:

• Podcast production, editing, and mixing
• Concept development and format planning
• Guest booking and scheduling
• Show notes, publishing, and launch support
• Ongoing content management or consulting

The exact scope of work will be detailed in your project proposal and service agreement. Any additional work that is requested from the client before or after work commences may be subject to a revision of both the work proposal and the financial quote.

3. Quotes & Payment

• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• A 50% deposit is required to secure your project, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of the final files (unless otherwise agreed).
• Ongoing or retainer projects will be invoiced monthly in advance.
• Payment is accepted via bank transfer or PayPal (fees may apply).
• Late payments may incur a 5% monthly fee after 14 days past due.

4. Revisions

Each project includes one round of reasonable revisions to ensure you’re fully satisfied. Additional edits or structural changes requested after sign-off will be billed at the agreed hourly rate.

5. Turnaround Times

Turnaround times vary based on project scope and will be agreed upon in advance. Delays in receiving materials (audio files, assets, feedback, etc.) may extend delivery times. These delays may incur further charges.

6. Client Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are to be carried out by the client and NOT the responsibility of Unmuted Studios:

• Providing all necessary materials, recordings, and information in a timely manner
• Securing appropriate rights and permissions for any third party content (e.g. music, clips, trademarks)
• Ensuring any guests or contributors consent to being recorded and published

7. Ownership & Usage Rights

Upon full payment, you retain full ownership of the final mixed and mastered podcast files. Unmuted Studios retains the right to use video clips, audio clips or screenshots for its own portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Confidentiality

All content and materials shared during production are treated as strictly confidential. I will never share or disclose your recordings, ideas, or data without your permission.

9. Cancellations

• If a project is cancelled before work begins, the deposit is non-refundable.
• If cancelled after work has begun, you will be charged for
any time and work completed to date.
• Either party may terminate an ongoing agreement with 14 days’ written notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to ensure the highest quality production, Unmuted Studios is not liable for:

• Loss of earnings, opportunities, or reputation resulting from podcast publication or distribution
• Technical issues beyond my control (e.g. platform downtime or third-party hosting errors)

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
